Confused - does this mean no more channels??

Hiya Everyone

Now i have a ex1100usb box, i only just bought,saved up for ages, so my mum who i care for, after her sppine collapsed had decent tv, being a mum of 4, on my own, and caring for my mum, money is non existant, and there was no way i can afford monthly fees. Can Barly get food on the table.
So i got basic virgin, phoneline and net. Even that is almost 40.

Now i was sent a new card im on bolton greater manchester a month ago.
and now all my movie channels, most entertainment are dissapearing one by one saying scrambled,
after googling etc, i came across this site, and you guys seem pretty clued up and helpful.
Doe this mean my channels are all going???
Is there any other box/way anything too get channels back?? at all???

Its the only thing that keeps her sane, being able too watch documentrys etc etc. as i cant be with her 24/7. I reallydont want too loose them all??

Or is there a cheaper way of getting all channels.
Anyone at all please help me??

so please try and be simple as possible, ( though im not dumb lol) only was told about this box by my freind, and they were easily bought never resalised they were not meant too be used till after, but thought ahh well.

if i was you i'd put in for DLA for your mum and pay for the channels..

The basic Virgin service does not come to £40, well its advertised for £30

Sky do an offering too, with all mixes broadband and phone for £34.


Those are your cheapest options, there are no freebies anymore, since N3 on cable.

yes the box you have is going to fall foul of a new encryption system which as of yet is virtually un-beatable, i would subcribe to a basic pack if money provides,and soon the box will be unusable with only channels 1-5 available,if and when you have an installation make sure the "other box" is out of sight!
hope it goes well, doing a grand job looking after your mum. also very intresting nickname lol

There are other ways, but they will cost to start with.... You could opt for the A780 Kryptview Card share box, haven’t tried one so unable to give you the full SP… Google them or just browse this forum.

Nothing's guaranteed though, not even CS. Sky is rumoured to at some point implement measures to prevent their cards being shared, and with a bit of imagination one could envisage Virgin doing the same. And of course there is the issue of finding a safe reliable server, that won't be raided.

Much safer/reliable/less hassle to pay a subscription IMHO.

thankyou everyone, comment about dla, yes we had that, but all but £42 goes on her car, which she now cannot drive, trying too get rid but on contact.

ROBBO yes it is not quite 40, but i said almost, thats for basic bundle. think i have looked everywhere but cant find any other packages.

ATOM i will look up that thing, see what its about??? is it just a card? will try and see now.

so the basic is that no matter what the channels are dissapering no matter wat! lol xxx
