just a quick note.... i bought naother iphone and got it delivered today but the seller had updated it,,, i would assume using these back ups of old firmware versions i can backdate it for want of a better word.
being unable to jailbreak the newer firmware this tool is a very valuable thing!

once again thanks to the op for the link.... he deserves some credit!
