Was in Paris two weeks ago and feeling a bit thirsty fancied a pint. Until I saw the price. €11.50!! What the....? I had paid €7.50 near where we were staying and thought that was steep. And the top third of the glass is just froth. That really pisses me off. They weren't happy when I asked them to fill it up. It's a beautiful city but I won't be rushing back.

Yes, the prices in Paris are stupid, I went there about ten years ago and paid ten quid for omelete and chips. Disneyland Paris is extortionate too, my wife went there last year.

Glass of water is far more effective at quenching a thirst mate

Water doesn't taste as good though. It was my second time there and knew it wasn't a cheap place by any means but it's completely ridiculous now. €25 for 2 x coffees, 1 x hot chocolate and an orange juice! No thanks.

I have just been working in Copenhagen, Hotel price 1 beer £9, Bacardi coke (single shot) £12, no beer sold in supermarkets, goverment shops only. Thank God for COMPANY CREDIT CARDS !!!!
