Default Chipped Virgin ??

There is somebody in my town now chipping Virgin again.

They have some sort of firmware on a USB and it`s running through their modem (internet) and then to their box. The channels are scrambling, Not sure where he is installing the firmware or how. Does anybody have any ideas? Might buy it to check it out.

if its a cable box then he has 2 boxes

1) Kryptview
2) Starview 6 or a Combo

Seeing as you mentioned its a flashed via a USB then most likely its a SV box.

And yes the method is known as C/S mate. Where you require to connect to a server via internet connection in order for you to get the necessary '' keys'' from the local card.
