finally the end is near

absolutley gutted my card has finally come this week and so ive been told all the neath/portalbot areas

and id like to thank every1 on this forum for all the info and the people that have helped me out in the past with the problems ive had..cheers

My box went down 2 days ago, strangely I knew it was going to happen, but when it did it still came as a bit of a shock, I went in to a sort of state of denial, scanning and rescanning for about 30 minutes until the realisation hit me( like an aluminium baseball bat to the back of the head), I deleted all the black screens I had on my channel lists, which was all the movie and sports channels and slummped on too my sofa, I was cursing Richard Branson as I scrolled through the cr@p I had left, then I realised Branson had left all the kids channels until last, so he must have a heart.

Anyway as I wiped away the last of my tears and composed myself, I made my way over to the TV cabinet to do the dirty deed of unplugging the box, I had flash backs of all the happy times I had over the years, the boxing etc,Setanta Sport, the free Prem Plus that had impressed my mates so much, as I unplugged the coaxial I got a small shock from the static flying about, I realised it was just my boxes way of saying good bye.

Anyway at the moment he is on my sideboard in bubble wrap until I decide his fate, he is much better than a door stop he is a KV750 he deserves better than that.

Thank you for you heart felt and moving story Mr Leechy070667, it brought a tear to my eye..
I am well aware of your pain as a few days ago i also received my New card.
It came though my letter box and hit the floor with a sound that almost broke my heart..
Thank you for giving me the opportunity and strengh to deal with my pain..
And thank you Cable and wireless/NTL/Virgin for the last 12 years..lol..

Edit.. Im thinking of turning my most favorite box into a plant pot..
