Default second hand Virgin Media HD boxes

...in short, can I save myself a few quid and get one second hand, use my current card and get HD?

They are stolen and Virgin Media are not arses - they are protecting their property and business the same as I hope you do.

It was a perfectly innocent question -I have moved around plenty in my time and have found numerous Cable and Wireless/NTL boxes in the vacated property - clearly, those companies didn't give an 'arse' about their 'property' and 'business' then? I have been a virgin/ntl/cable and wireless customer since the mid-nineties and have an old out-dated Samsung box now that is over 7 years old - a mobile phone company would have upgraded me at least twice by now, and I object to forking out £50 for the privilege of having HD when I already have the technological capabilities in every other piece of equipment but the box and service I already pay for.

'arses' was my way of saying 'oh, bother!' - but since you have bothered to complain as if this was 'Points of View' - I don't have much time for either Branson or Murdoch who I actually think are 'complete and utter f****** c****** arses'.

You could, at least, be honest that YOU ARE STEALING from Virgin Media:

New VM Cmart Card - Will it affect Eurovox?
