Passive sniffing has always been ok as all you are doing is listening to data going past. The problems start when you try active scanning, especially when you try to do literally hundreds of active scans per minute. You may as well raise a big flag saying "I'm here !"

if you have not used this give it a try it can fetch you 1000s in 10 mins and as a database for ya macs , its called colasoft mac scanner

on useing the DHCP sniffer, remember to use bruteforce

Yh I have that and it finds Wireless Box MACs and Some Modems but he MACs Don't Work for People I trade too... In a Different UBR.
