For anyone still suffering from pixelating/glitching/choppy channels then simply upgrade your coax cable.

I had very similar problems as mentioned in this thread and it was due to my cable. I upgraded it today to some high quality coax FT100 from Screwfix 25m for £12. Re-terminated the ends properly with screw on and it sorted the problem straight away.

Another thing to check is the actual F-Connecter end make sure its properly making contact with the copper outer wire. If the copper breaks when installing your own screw on connectors then this is no good. You must make sure you have a good connection from your splitter to box.

If your still having problems. Reset to factory default and then do a power scan pressing blue, not fast scan.

Cheers

in my previous posts ,using a attenuator cured my problems.just to add that i recently added a hard drive recorder to my setup and when turned on caused the same pixalating and sound problems.again cured this using a inline attenuator thats not variable.seems these boxes pick up electical waves from other appliances e.g hard drive/ wickes air freshener. strange

Hi all, can any one help all my ESPN channels+ LFC are pixalating very bad all the time, or have no signal, all other channels are fine with 82% signal strengh.
My box is the Max blue 2006, and i have just installed a signal booster the Konig amp 30, with no splitters, but still no luck.
But the funny thing is when the weather is cold, you can wathing the channels is managable, but when hot , NO SIGNAL.
I've tried adjusting the Mhz up and down, no good.
Please i am really stuck.
