hi

i have recently just upgraded to 28/04/08 f/w for max-v and i am having the same problem but with two standard channels, itv and channel 4. the frequency is set at 515.000mhz and have adjusted it a few times. i got a steady pic on frequency 515.410mhz, saved it and was working fine. turned box on the next day ,the frequency was still at 515.410 but pic was broke up. done this a few times but everytime i switch iot off it resets. gettin a signal strength of 89%

Tried with signal booster on and off

can any1 help me?

Thanks

Have you split the signal anywhere? I had the same problem with 3 frequencies. Signal was around 89% mark but very jumpy pic.

I had a split aerial going to another tv so removed that and all was fine again. Signal was still 89% but no jumping.

Why did you update to the 28/4 firmware - were you having this problem already before you updated?

The 28/4 firmware is a modified version of the 18/4 firmware - it was modified to boost the low signal that some people were experiencing with the 18/4 version. If this was not the case for you then re-install the 18/4 firmware.

The storm may have passed or else it is the calm before the next onslaught.

The keys will definitly change again tho - they always have on an ad-hoc basis so best advice is still to update your box.

More likely the calm before the onslaught!

Not exactly the tuner drivers were though.

Plug the cable aerial into the other socket on the back, this will reduce signal and should sort the problem advise if this works
