let me get this right.. you want to know how to stream a channel from a channel from a DM 500 S to PC am I right?

if thats the case then its fairly simple

connect the box to the router

go into the communications setup and make sure the correct IP address is allocated. If not then allocate the correct IP

after that use the DM IP and enter that IP address into your browser... without the http

you will now get the GUI of the DMbox

after that you should have a list of all the channels

select the channel which u require and click on the VLC icon at the top

and then open the file... either from within the location or save it to a location which is easily accessible .. i.e desktop and right click on the file and select open with and C:/program files > scroll down the list and select the VLC folder.

you shall now see the channel on VLC player.

you should be able to go into the lan setup on the dm and ge the ip there.

if not go into your router gui and check the dhcp table, it will tell you there

it is easy with modzilla, simply install vlc and use modzilla to browse the web gui of the dm, press 'web tv' or click the computer icon or whatever it shows, (depends on the image) and it should display on the comp
