You have your satellites mixed up, the channels you're after are not on Hotbird, which is 13E, but on Eurobird 1, which is co-located at 28.2E:

I've not got my satellites mixed up, it must be the card or the software, i have to pick between 50 satellites then scan them 28.8 is coming up as astra 2a,2b, and 2d and gives me most of the channels but not the other ones, so i have to scan the hotbird satellite to get them

I think i know what the problem is think its the software as i tried progdvb again and done it properly this time and it comes up with the astra/eurobird satellite but i dont really like the program, so if any one has any other ideas about software it would be very helpful

Ok so dvb dream finds the proper satellite and works as does progdvb and dream dvb looks alot better than compro and progdvb and all the channels are in alphabetical order which didn't occur in the other programs ands the epg kind of works although i need to see how to use it properly

I have tried alt dvb, dvb portal, my theatre and tv scheduler pro today and none of them worked, i might purchase dvb dream as that looks alot better and finds the proper satellite
