Guys,

N3 has hit and channels are gone.

I have a FREE TV Service package with VM for which they provided me with a Samsung box. Unfortunately the Sammy does not support HDMI inputs.

My question

I have my new legit VM Smart Card. Every time I insert it in the Samsung box - works fine. Every time I insert it into the V+HD box, it comes up with a message saying the card is not valid for this box or something to that effect.

Is it possible to use the legitimate Smart Card with my V+HD box or is the box now deemed 100% useless?

The reason for why I want to do this - Picture is alot sharper via HDMI (available of the V+HD box) as opposed to the SCART (limitation on the Samsung Box)

As has been stated many times before in this forum, boxes and cards are paired on the cable network. You cannot use the card from one box in another box.

PS I hope your attempts to use your legitimate card in an illegal box have not advised Virgin Media of your situation.
