I have just started using a videomate S350 DVB-s card and when i am watching a program there is 8 squares in the top right hand corner of the screen which is quite annoying.
Does anyone knoiw what this is and if there is a way to get rid of it thanks in advance |

This kind of branding usually tends to indicate your using an evaluation copy of a particular video codec. Tbh, with all the DOG's on digital tv screens these days I dont even notice such things anymore.

You can find "cracked" versions of the Elecard codec which removes the branding.
Personally though, I dont like cracked programs (unless i've done em myself) because all too often they have extra payloads built in which virus detectors seem incapable of actually detecting. |
