Could you clarify please Rick !

Does that rule (or any other) preclude a technical discussion of how the commercial servers actually function or is it just a ban on mentioning the servers themselves ?

Dont want to get into trouble for a techy post describing processes.

A basic how it works in general is fine, so long as there is nothing specific to any provider . Basically what we allowed before bringing this section online. What we really don't want to see is mention of names of payservers, or detailed guides of how they work that could be used to set one up.

If any one is in any doubt what's ok to post, feel free to PM a member of staff before you post and we can OK it, therby avoiding any problems later.

Certainly wont be getting that kind of info from me - setting them up is made more than easy by the sites that provide them so no help needed there !

I'm just interested in how they work as opposed to the simple CS systems people set up on dreamboxes etc. The fact that so few subscriptions can be used to serve to literally thousands is a fascinating subject.
