Default Is my EX700HD dead? (red lines on LED display)

My EX700HD displays only red horizontal lines across the LED display, and there's no signal. Same thing after a power cycle. Does this means it's dead?

well, if you do fix it, will it still work with N3, you must have n3 or at least be weeks aways, so your box will be useless either way. It wont be worth anything now, so throwing money and time to fix it wont be any advantage,

Itm, have you tried a software flash??? It was my understanding that you would still be able to get some basic channels if N3 hit, I didnt think that the box would pack up altogether!!! Maybe Im wrong!!!

Does this problem sound like something which would be resolved by a software flash? By the look of the LCD display (displaying only horizontal red lines instead of the usual green text) it sounds like hardware failure????
