Help urgently needed gents...iphone related

Ok guys heres the problem.....ive had ios4.0.2 on my iphone 3g and it was terrible....ive installed custom firmware 3.1.3 using itunes 9.0.2 but im stuck in recovery mode....blackra1n is no good as it says an "ads.ll file is missing"...recboot says i need a "frameware 4.0" (or something)...ive tried a few of these programmes to no avail...also tried ireb ih8sn0w....NOWT......PLEASE HELP ME GENTS...THIS IS SEVERELY TWISTIN MA MELON MAN !!!!!!

custom firmware wouldnt go in for me using itunes...
with that 4.0.2 id just restore it to when it was working and wait for an easy jailbreak solution to come out.

ah ive just realsied you have the 3g..... mate seriously i had one then tried the 3gs and my god its 20 times better.

sell that elephant and get a 3gs its worth the extra.

Apple are bring out a stable udate soon as per rumours

if you're having problems with blackra1n saying it can't find it (asl.dll)
copy blackra1n from your desktop

go to this on your computer
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

Under asl.dll paste blackra1n
right click and creat short and it will say to desktop say yes

i thought about selling the iphone 3gs for a buy it now on ebay then buying another 3gs thats all ready jailbroken or not been updated, but what a hassle that would be!
what if the price you get doesnt cover another iphone... wouldnt that be a tw*t.

still its worth thinking about.

anyone that gets or sees a 3gs 4.0.2 jailbreak let me know.

my itunes comes up with an error (3194) i think it is when it tries to evrify the ipsw file, with one of my old ipsw fiels it restores my iphone but isnt changing the firmware.

hope this thread helps anyone out there with the same problem.

well i sold my 3g 8g jailbreaked to a mate for £150 and bite the hand of a guy who was selling a 3gs 16gb, mint with everything in a box for £200, some £150 cheaper then ebay

but i heard have to downgrade 4.02 to 4.01 to jailbreak, i spent 2 hrs last night trying and no luck so far
