Hi,
Virgin came and gave me cable broadband today. They replaced my belkin router with a net gear one. I can't now connect wirelessly from my laptop with a belkin wireless card to the netgear router, I can't even see the network when I search for it, I can connect and surf with an ethernet cable but obviously not a long term solution. My question is do I need to get a netgear wireless card or can I get the belkin one to talk to it? I am running Vista with service pack 2. Thanks in advance Matt |

The router might have the wireless side disabled, or turned off, I have to press a button, on my Vigor router, to enable the wireless function, then it can be accessed.
Can you please post the model number, of the Netgear router, to check for an online manual. |
