Default Please insert smartcard

Hi all,
Does receiving the message 'please insert smart card' mean I'm losing channels due to N3 or do I need to rescan? I've lost a few channels with this message.
I was under the impression that once N3 hits me, I will receive a 'scrambled channel' message.
Cheers

Anything that says please insert smart card is nagra 3 yes , also channel now scrambled is the same , not even worth rescanning to double check to be honest.

From what I understand, these boxes are able to connect to a router which downloads the keys from a card sharing server somewhere.
