Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help. On my home network I have a PC and a laptop. I have the PC hooked up with a modem and then a router to which the laptop is connected wirelessly. The modem is a Virgin media one and the router is a Netgear WGR614v6. I keep getting drop outs when trying to browse and it seems that it happens when I am running utorrent. If I am running Utorrent on the PC the laptop wont load the internet and sometimes I cant browse on the PC either when its running. I have to close Utorrent and reset the internet to be able to browse. Any ideas what I can do to get a stable connection that does not involve closing Utorrent? Oh and we dont use firewalls...only the NAT on the router....is it a router issue? Cheers, Al |

You might need to look at the Netgear site/forums m8,...there was a reported issue with some models of Netgear routers suffering dropouts which have supposedly been fixed with new firmware upgrades,..
