It has to read ' x ' once read, it's got them all. I suspect you switch off at the mains, hence, when you power up it has to start to find them all from scratch !

hi yes i leave in stand by so when i power up it takes sometimes 5 minutes to find all epg was same on old box 700 dont like leaving box on 24 7 cheers

Have you set you're Time Zone to GMT + 01:00

Menu, User Prefrence, 0000, Time/Timer, change time zone to 01:00, exit

hi think i just set it to summertime is that the problem time displays right

why does it take so long to collect all epg information? my freeview which is built into telly is populated instantly.
