Default stupdid question

Hi,

my name is peter and I am from Sweden, I am also new here, found this forum in google, I am not sure if you can help me, would be very helpful, if you reply.

We have at home a nice tv equipment, but the problem I have is that we have 2 little children and they play most of the time in our tv room, I told to my wife, that they will damage the tv...

I am thinking now to protect the tv with a office mat I have seen this mat and I think that this could be a help, a transparent, flexible mat.

What do you think?

regards
peter

At least the floor won't get scratch when the kids push the tv over.

To be honest I'd either ban the children from playing anywhere near the TV or mount it at a higher level on the wall.

Any form of "protection" is either going to wreck the picture (either by obscuring the images or adding spurious reflections) or will be as likely to get broken as the TV appears to be now, but you will run the risk of the TV getting damaged as well - domino effect.
