Hi,
This relates to a problem I have with a Canon Camcorder FS306 and a 32gb SDHC kingston memory card.

Basicly I formatted the card to FAT32 popped it in the camcorder and it says it cannot use the card?

The specs&canon say it should, so im woundering if it needs to be formatted differently ie NTFS or with an allocation unit size?

If anyone knows what im going on about, thanx in advance

try formatting again using default allocation size

or even better use the format utility in the camera options

If anyone else comes across this problem, in the camcorder settings there is an option to initalize the memory card. If this dosnt work like it didnt for me, look for an option to complety initalize the card!

This wipes the card complety and formats it adding its own files & folders.
