hi all daz here thx for all the help i have recieved so im asking one last time in desperation. from my previous posts you will seee i have had a problem with my remote not working,have bought new remote still not working downloaded all the latest software and channels buut still recieving no signal searching for signal should i get channels after downloading firmware or do u still need to do a scan with the remote if so i cannot do this as no remote thx daz sorry forgot to mention it is a eurovox 2 silver bought xmas 2006 or would loading much older firmware help if there is such a thing

if you have no channels now then you will need to do a scan to get them.

as for remote all i can suggest is try to borrow 1 form a friend or get a new 1 maybe do a search on google or ebay to see if you can locate 1

If you can get a channel list file for your area you can download this and you won't have to do a power scan again.

i think your box is faulty. if you bought it xmas 2006 its perhaps still under warranty depending where you bought it.

ive just had the same problem. open the box, power on and press the button on the main board. now press the stanby button on the box and unplug. turn back on and the remote should now work.

if it is a eurovox 2 then the best way around is if you download the new feb firmware and buy ev max remote control and that shud work, its tried tested by myself and it worked 100% for me! and for your no signal try changing your cable wire as it could be faulty!

Hi Dazzle, if you pm me your email i will send you some eurovox 2 firmware,have you checked your remote through a camera phone, if you look at the sensors though the camera when you press a button they will light up
