hi

Trying to set up db 500 s , however sometimes when turn it on the remote control is un resposive and basically no buttons work and just have start up screen tried unplugging but still no response

Help please

Also simple guide to tuning would be helpful

have also noticed some channels saying

no service data available ? can someone explain that please
I know their is a c line in it but i am not getting channels after a scan , is there a cetain method /option when scanning transponders all i scanned for was the network option . So i can see cetain channels with very good signal strength but they wont open

Sorry dont know i will have to ask . Mates got same provider his ok . Trying to find 28.2 astra but seem to only get 26 !1

Sounds like your dish is out. Are you able to scan any channels in at all ? What sort of dish do you have ?

yes foud 39 Hellsat last night and scanned ok ( got good signal on some but would not open them ) rick would it work if i put tm back on went to 28.2 , then put db back and stored satt position immediately .
If i get all satts on tm that must mean dish cant be out ? does it ?

1m motor dish disque 1.2

If you change the DB to single fixed dish in the menus yes. Doesn't the Dbox have USALS support ?

it has a goto x function to put co ords in

Try the TM and see what happens, atleast that will track the problem down to dish or reciever.

Located 28.2 with tm then put db back on , scanned found 670 channels But they all say :no data for this service available : and dont show any signal strength indicators next to them
