There are a number of different Five channels, on 28E, using different frequencies, the one on 10773 H 22000 is listed as being FTA.
Personally I never watch any British television so I haven't checked it.

As usual you are correct mickha, itv and all beeb channels work fine with the card pulled..

Yep, there are at least two channel 5's.

The one that's in the Sky EPG needs a card, but there is a free to air one also, that doesn't. To get that one I believe one needs to tune additional channels on the appropriate transponder.

The reason why a channel 5 is encrypted I believe is something to do with existing contracts that were in place before Freesat was launched.

The d box 2 for sat will scan all free channels
You can pick them up for a song
With an Enigma image on it ,may be able to access more .........Paul
