My reciever never been flashed , so i wanted to flash it , but when i connect it to pc with null modem cable and run Darkmans loader nothing happends . Ive done everything like in tutorial about flashing TM - 1000 series . Maybe i need change something in recievers settings to open port , because my pc shows that port is open , dunno what im doing wrong . Can some1 help me plz >>>>>>>>>>

Hi westlers,

Welcome to the forum.

What is your connection at the pc end? Does it have a serial port, or are you using a usb to serial adapter?

Are you sure that your cable is cross over (null modem) and not straight through?

Check that the coms port on your pc (device manager) is set to the same as the port specified on your DM Loader.(Usually coms 1).

That is not a null modem cable. You need to insert a null modem in there.

( swapping pins 2 and 3 on one end should do the trick)

Apart from that, one end is the wrong gender, are you using a gender bender?

No im using just this cable
Serial Null Modem 9Pin Female to 9Pin Female : Null Modem Cables : Maplin

Ok, check that pin 2 on one end is wired to pin 3 on the other, and vice versa.

Though, now you have provided the full description, it seems that you have a null modem cable.

No, check it by electrical means. Light bulb + battery if you don't have a continuity meter.
