wots coming up in ur event log, and wot macs are u trying, you want to try macs begining with 00:08 or 00:40 or 00:20

it may be a case of u have tried a couple of bad macs and blacklisted for modem for a short period, in which cas u will have to turn it off for just over 4 hours and then turn it on without the coax feed and change ur mac and serial no. and reboot and whilst rebooting re-connect the coax feed back in and see wot happens, u might find that if it does go online it will work ok untill u turn it off or get a power cut and then mac will go dead again and u will have to change it, but it wont be completely dead only for a week or so on the same modem.

its something thats been happening to me, when using haxorware, it may be my stealth setting are incorrect iam not sure.

i find sigma 13.5 on my sb5100 to be stable at the moment, iam able to turn it off and on at will, without getting the dhcp discover sent/ no offer problem.

also try and make sure u try it with a good working mac, i know its easier said then done.

if u manage to get online u could try HMC program which goes through u mac list and sorts out the working from the non working ones etc etc.

Cheers for reply mate, can anyone confirm what it means in dhcp sniffer when it asks for a working mac code, can this be one of those additional log on info required macs, can it be me mates mac who lives 2 streets away.... also i was told u dont have to put a mac in snifer, but for meit always asks for one otherwise will not work!
Also my bpi is set to 1.0 is this correct (i have tried the other settings to no avail)..

Regards
Sparky
