Starview HD comba new firmware or not Freeze

I have been trying to get the box going for few days now . I have the latest Carling+ installed and all the channels are Freezing except FTA of course no HD channels available. I tried carling cccam 1.20 and other once but the result is the same keep freezing .
I have no internet problem. I have the connection ok Ustreaming .
All it is left is the starview server which suppose to handle all the connections and I believe now from the user point of view there is not much to do if they don’t get this fix there is no much expectation from these boxes .

Any one with an commends or suggestions please post

hmmm.. why does it not suprise me that this box is a '' major let down ''

there has been a lot of posts in regards to this box and the freezing issues on cable.

As far as c/s is cocerned you should be aware of one main fact

you only get the channels which are subscribed by the Card owner. What this means is that in your case its the HD channels which you stated that they are not there.

Well that because the HD channels have not been paid for as of yet. wil they add the channels??? this remains to be seen but they should add them considering they have a HD box released.

On sat side well this box works like a charm apprently from the feedback I have received anyway in other forums by mods and admins.

your freezing issue thats something I wouldn know what is going on.. however if you not downloading and you have a decent connection cant see why would have issues in the first place

Could be the cccam as well, as this gives issues on the sat side as well with certain boxes... one being the spiderbox.

That’s what they say For me is satellite site again is a mystery for now if you have solid C line then would be able to test properly, I feel they are more like trying to encourage people to use sat site for their sake but then purpose of this box is to first provide decent cable site for the price we paid otherwise I would keep dedicated Sat receiver simple. Many sat users probably wouldn’t buy this just because of the sake of using as sat receiver.

Which firmware file are you using Keith? Carling+ (latest one) or the carling_combo_1.0 file? Plus is it working better than before with the older firmware?

just keep trying firmware untill u find 1 that works ok for u that all i did

I loaded GrooveRider_HD_COMBO_+_0128.UAD & Carling+_0712.UAD, I do get the odd freeze but nothing that bothers me too much.
I have seen it go down for a couple of hours once though. Unfortunately, we're not allowed a satellite dish on our building, so not an option.

I think that as most people will be rushing to use the c/s service like me, I'm going to assume they will put a bit more effort into fixes and channels updates.

Until a Nag3 fix comes out, relying on a server is our only option.

IMO the odd freeze for a few seconds every now and then is better than no channels.

Has anyone seen Sly1 HD on their channel line up?
