Default Second Virgin box useable at a different address?

Hi All I'm new to these forums (joined today).
I have a newbie question which I was hoping someone could answer.

I have a full subscription to Virgin with a V+ box and a second box which I am not using. I recently recieved new cards for both boxes and was wondering if I could use the second box at my girlfriends house, she has a Virgin BB service? I reckon it wont work but is thre any way that I can make use of the box/card at her address?

Thanks

Thanks for that, we are not in the same area as such but both in North London (N14 and N8). Im guessing this means it wont work, is there anyway around this 'netid' thing?

If you are not using the second box, best to cancel it's subscription and save £5.50 per month (assuming you are not a VIP customer).

Within the limitations of whats already been said it will work fine (NetId etc) but its not really recommended as VM can tell the box is not where its supposed to be. So far VM have shown little interest in these boxes but thats not to say they wont take an interest anytime soon !

The further away a box is from where its supposed to be, the more likely VM will detect it !
