Default Tuning Channels from Eurobird1

Hi, Bought a silvercrest receiver from Lidl the other day.

I am pointing to 28.2 east and can get all the Astra channels.
I cannot get any of the eurobird1 channels. My kids want pop and tiny pop.
How can I add the Eurobird1 to the receiver ?

Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon,

Welcome to Techwatch.

You may have to add the transponder frequencies manually - probably in a menu called 'satellite setup' or similar, and then scan it.

The channels you are looking for are on 11642V 27500 (symbol rate).

Here is a full list for Freesat:-

Thanks for that.
Will look at the receive to see how I can do that.
The decoder "add antennae" settings dont make much sense to me.
I have added a screenshot from the manual.

Thanks again

Simon

Image did not work.

1) LNB Type : Default universal (I can set a user setting when you have a 1st freq and a second freq)
2) 22k Activation
3) DiSEqc : Select DiSEqC level ???
3) DiSEqc Switch : 1/2, 2/2 , 1/4,2/4 etc
4) Positioner
5) Polarity

You can select 'Astra 2' satellite in your setup menu, and add the transponder frequency there. Astra 2 and Eurobird are co-located so no real need to add a new satellite in your case.
You need to find an 'add transponder' option - key in the transponder frequency and symbol rate - save it. Then find the 'scan' function.
Once scanned the new channels may appear at the bottom of the list.
As I don't have one of these models I'm afraid I can't be more specific. Just have a good root around in the menus. It's all part of the fun.
