eurovox max no sound - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

hi all just got one of these for my parents and helped them set it up over the phone anyway got it working ok, an hour later they rang me to say they got no sound but pic is perfect. re did a scan but still no sound pluged in the original n*l box and all ok any ideas what they could have done many thanks in advance

I had this problem it was to do with my scart first then i had to go into setup and change my box to PAL then worked fine

loose scart lead is most likely fault. or if it isnt connected with scart the setting in tv config needs changing from pal b/g to pal i...

thanks dont think its the scart as did work and i asked my brother to check if they were in secure i know my dads a sod with remotes may be he gone into settings and changed something as usual lol thanks for the quick replies will phone him 2nite and let you now
gadgetfiend so it needs to be set to pal b/g for a scart lead in the settings menu

no they're usually set to pal/bg by default but if you want to use with the rf output rather than scart you need to change it to pal i. it'll work with scart on both settings, better on the latter though....

have tried all this and even to change language but still no sound but pic still perfect any more ideas please even done full scan again and tryied another box and thats fine help lol
