if your box,s ip is 192.168.1.100
the laprtop needs to be set as 192.168.1.120

as above if direct needed is xover cable

Wow , I got the IP connection successfully finally .
But the user-name/password are wrong

Can I rest my user/pass ,or root is the default for all systems .

I'm just looking to edit and organize all channels using DreamBoxEdit on my DM 500-S .

I think the problem is the RS232 to USB, the application can’t find the target (DM 500s), it is like setting up a home network.
