Oh dear !

Usually first thing guy does when he comes to collect is write the box serial No and card serial No in his pickup book. When Vm examine this the details obviously arent going to match either the original details or the box/card pairing details. Even "killing" the box isn't going to get you out of that mess !

When the account gets cancelled, they will just send a box to post it back. No engineer.

They sent someone out to collect mine, I don't know if it's different in other areas.

They even took my (virgin supplied) router, which I'm certain I was told was mine to keep, but I wasn't about to argue. That had been reflashed, because the VM firmware on it seemed pants. But then, reflashing a router wouldn't enable me to get free services so I don't suppose they'd care too much if I had.

you rent all the equipment, nothing is yours apart from batterys in a remote

What belongs to you ?

If its the stb then its unlikely, VM never relinquish ownership of those !

Modems, they may allow you to keep either to use if you re-subscribe or to dispose of. They never give you the right to modify them in any way.

Routers etc, they may allow you to keep. It depends on how long you've actually had it and what model it is.

just use ya head get letter thru door saying going pick box up just ring them up say you just moved in got this letter thru door just asked me is any virgin box there said no then said ok we cancel coming to yours
cancel contract after few weeks or months they send you letter to pick box up virgin dont pick boxes up no more some company do it just ring them say just moved in simples
