channels missing a780

i have scanned and pick up some channels but im missing s**sports2 , nat geo and regional itv and bcc also some movie channels . ive scanned different providers , only two (ex c&w and tele****) pick up tps on 6.952 which is what my evox used to scan on . c&w picks up 49 tp and tele**** picks up 50 something so i think tele**** is the one to go for . my nearest town that comes up is preston thats about 18 miles away and ive scanned with no splitters , and done factory reset first , how can i get the missing channels ? can i add them manually ? but where do i get the freq to scan thanks

when you are scanning for your channels are you scanning on all or network if you are scanning on all i suggest you factory default your box and scan on your provider and then on network you wil then get a list of net id choose your nearest to you and press ok and let the box do the rest

yes im doing network scan and getting 195 channels but still missing the ones ive listed , they are appearing in the list on tv , have tried scanning all providers and twest gets 2 more tps than ex c&w . is there anyway of getting freqs to scan manually or could it be a tuner error as ive scanned loads of boxes and never had any trouble scanning before using same feed. i bought 2 of these boxes together , the first was dead and this one wont scan properly . thanks

what is the date of the firmware on your box now ?? can you tell me ?? also what is the signal and quality strenght % wise ?? are you using a split feed ??

firmware is 240810 signal 82 q 72 , am on splitter now but not when scanning but to be honest i only get same number of tps . thanks

when you scan your are you getting a list of net id ?? do you choose the nearest to you also can you actually see the channel in your channel list

preston is TW area and net id is === 40968

im in lancashire and only one (preston) appears its about 18 miles away blacburn is nearest but not on list . the channels im missing arent on list on tv thanks

has to be on the list m8 i have it on mine do a factory default fully then do auto scan ONLY change the provider box on top NTL leave the one underneath alone set at network then press the green button.

When you get your list of net id look for blackburn its 41048 and then just press ok make sure you are on non split feed

im getting preston 40967 move down to it press ok and it finds 51 tpsthen scans itself , then i exit andstill channels not on list could they be under another name?i.e. test channel
