An exellent app but can still freeze up when hitting a mac that goes operational but no web access,a better result can be obtained by really looking at the mac list you are using and keeping tabs on what is happening in your local area, use the app as it is a very useful tool but be wary when assembling your list to run through or be prepared to keep pulling your cable feed to regain access to the hax gui (i have tv connector on mine now to make life easier! lol) The way things are at the min I constantly check macs for future use,a lot of useable macs can be gained by checking incrementally.....

nuttyprof do you know what is happening at the minute with the modems as i have tried and tried different mac addresses in different modems for the past 3 days now and they just keep going off after about an hour. I have just noticed now though that our area is currently undergoing the N3 takeover and was wondering if this has something to do with it ie maybe causing interference as it is all coming through the same cable feed. any help would be much appreciated.

if you ask me i think that they are phasing modems only capable of docsis 1 out.

there issuing customers with the early modems new 256's which support docsis 1.1 and then they can force bpi+

i gave up with modems a while back as i was getting 35mins exactly on every mac and then couldnt use it again for two days.

there was that whole 416k config thing a bit back which was a good inclination.

i might get one out over the next day or so to see where things are upto round my way

yep i agree with ya. some peeps around by me have been sent s/a 2100's to replace there sb4100/4200's

i aint used haxo for a while now as all the problems, i can get them online but then if turn it off the mac goes dead and if u try around three or more macs and dont get online then i have to leave it well over a week before its ok to try again.

on the plus side ive been testing sigma 13.5 on a sb5100 for the last 6 months and its been running great, and my area went nag3 around 4 weeks ago, and the modems still running good.

so do you think they are phasing out/getting rid of all cloned modems so people will either have to have a sub with an isp or could this just be a temporary problem

well ive tried the earlier sigma i cant remember which build it was and the sigma 142 build and no joy with both, but sigma 13.5 seems good

but everyone may get different results in different areas of the U.K

i can get online with haxo, sb5100mod and sigma 142 build, and they will stay on but then if i turn the modem off or get a power cut then they wont come online and all i get is DHCP offer/sent not recieved in the logs.

so its a case of get it online and dont reboot it for nowt, for them firmwares for now.

but the sigma 13.5 i can restart it, leave it off and change macs and all is good.
