strugling 2 keep modem on line

hi guys hope someone can help me out been trying all diffrent macs on my modems since last night 2 get modem back on but it will not keep going on line after about 10 mins modem goes back off line anybody no wat could b problem is it that there could b a clone detection going on in my area i am in liverpool like stated earlier tryed all last night 2 try and solve problem with about 60 or so macs but still no joy any advice would b more than welcome thanks in advance

same thing happening to me since i rebooted my clone, sub works fine same ds frequency as im using, modem lights up like its online but will not allow web access, even fails to give my nic an ip, its not just you mate, im also in the liverpool area and i know of at least a dozen people who all started having the same issue from yesterday, once modems reboot its dead.


anybody with a modem online I would highly suggest not rebooting it, like EVER.

good luck getting things working again, ive tried at least 60 macs over night, nothing is working for web access. nothing that gives me an ip for more than 3 mins at a time.
im stumped, tried everything i can think of


one thing i did notice inthe logs of my sub was this:

Wed Sep 08 10:19:23 2010 Wed Sep 08 10:19:23 2010 Information (7) locked and synced to rescue CMTS...all is well!
Wed Sep 08 10:19:23 2010 Wed Sep 08 10:19:23 2010 Information (7) Downstream sync ok
Wed Sep 08 10:19:23 2010 Wed Sep 08 10:19:23 2010 Information (7) Locked on the rescue CMTS ds. try to re-acquire ds sync...

not seen this before, is this something new?

not really sure if this is a new message because i generally dont run off my sub so i wouldnt know if its something new or not.

Hi, I had the Samething Happening to Me, it's to do with the settings. I started to Use that New program from Haxorware Mac Changer.

I think it's great as My Modems Now Stay on alot thx to the guy that Made it.


P.S Just Enter MAC and Press Send, If Fails Defrag the Modem Via the File Manager Page.

I have had the same problem...trying a lot of macs to get back online, not sure what they have done yet...but i have used the mac from my tv box and its been stable since this morning.

Great for sloooooow speeds yea,good for emergency measure to find solution if you have no sub but not a great alternative for getting a useable connection with a realistic download speed.....
