Default temp fix

Hi, some of bristols channels went on to n3 yesterday, someone managed to get them back......apparently theres a temp fix until you are completely switched over? was wondering if anyone knew where to find it?

a nokia dbox2 has an ethernet port...can the same thing be achieved on it as with the kryptview?

is there proof that someone has managed to make it work on c/s on cable?

if it requires messing around then I would be interested in knowing exactly what kind of messing around would be required in order to make it work on cable?

Of course its possible and not actually that difficult IF you have the correct details. They've been running N3 on the continent using rqcs/CCcam for a couply of years now without major problem.

Unfortunately, the hard bit is extracting the details which can be quite difficult. As usual, the dbox/dreambox crowd are waiting for somebody else to show them how to do this rather than attempting to sort it for themselves. So much for open-source boxes !
