Hello friends.....yep yet another desperate clueless newbie. I have been reading your posts with some interest and one has to say, you guys are really helpful and friendly

I have a pace 1010 with (TW) and due to recent events it's useless. Historically I used to pay 6 monthly subscriptions (about (£20), anyway that option is now redundant due recent events. I have therefore decided to DIY.

I have ordered Infinity Unlimited, Funcard 4 and downloaded swapbinhex, Ird Bk reader, toxic7_ExtEEgen, Nagraedit4&5. I have not received the infinity programmer yet. So probably trying to run before I can walk.

Guys, do i need any of the above softwares, I want to get rid of any I dont need and can you please explain what these softwares are and what they do, co's for eg I dont know what the hell swapbinhex is and how to use it. I open it and says drag your files and bin hex file will be created?

Steve07951 has explained how to make flash.hex, ee_int.hex, ee_ext.hex & Netid_fun_v1.5.hex files but where do I get the softwares from, I appreciate file attachments are not permitted but guide us please.

where can I get these softwares from? could someone please be kind enough to paste a link here, or pm or email me

Another thing I already have an Atmega 163 (pink) card, are they better than Funcards and would it be easier to update the existing Atmega card or am i better off starting afresh with Funcards.

I think this is enough brain picking for now

If you read the download sticky you can get all the files and tutorials from there, the atmega is very similar to a funcard to use, the redneck 6 is the latest au flash for it.

You dont create a flash file.. open up toxic enter ird + bk strsight do not need to keys or anything else, save bin file onto desk top, drag bin file over swapbinhex, this will create a hex file, now write the exteep, the latest flash file for your area, (latest flash file by geza).
