2/ how long will it work for 3/ which box is best,4/ does it work the same as dbox and dream box, ie ftb or sending/flashing a image to the box 5/ if you do have a box, and a live cable feed, how or what do you connect to on the internet to get it working, even though its all N3 ???????? guess thats enuf questions at the mo,, unless you wish to add any info which may help,, thks all

Thumbs up Re: kryptview a780 or 790T

1/ does it work on on these boxs

A780 is for UK and A790T is for ireland

2/ how long will it work for .

Until the server is raided / shut down by either police or network provider

3/ which box is best,

thats a decision which you would need to make yourself. A780 is recommended.

4/ does it work the same as dbox and dream box, ie ftb or sending/flashing a image to the box ?

NO.. the Sever is embedded into the image. uses the same protocol as the Dm boxes.. i.e in regards to CAMS. These are closed source boxes and are very limited to what they can do. There is no FTP needed. Simply flash the box and connect to the internet and scan.

5/ if you do have a box, and a live cable feed, how or what do you connect to on the internet to get it working, even though its all N3 ????????

You need a Live feed!!!! No signal NO channels... Once the box is connected to the router / internet.. it automatically connects to the server as the server line is already been embedded into the image. No need to add anything @ all!!!

It works on N3.. This is an alternative... The term '' card sharing'' says it all.

yes works in uk as it is the same as a780 but it has been made for ireland as it has 2 tuners. If in uk best to go for the a780.

Dont matter what box you get they both work the same the 790 is not a twin tuner box as people have been saying, yes it was made for the irish market but not working in ireland so was sold to the uk market.

The box works on the same firmware as the 780 box. and with no problem at all, they both do the same job!! allow you to watch the tv both boxes are fully supported and will be into the future as well, so dont matter if you have 780 / 790 no difference.

cheers all for the info, still a little confused, now iv been reading on the forum and doing a google serch, and its been said about card sharing, and that these persons with the server are wanting £ 10,15,20 a month to use there card sharing and server, now reading about it on here it looks like, you get a box lets say 780, with your cable feed which we pay for, then your net /or lan feed from your own pc, and bobs your uncle,???????? me thinks im getting to old for these things somtimes,
