Default The Eurovox Project.

The Eurovox Project.

I was thinking of starting a 'project' where we can all share frequencies from each location and recievers.

That way we can stay one step ahead of virgin media.

Discuss more, and say is it a good or bad idea.

frequencies from one location wont work in another, it was a good idea earlier in the eurovox's history as rather than scanning for channels you could just flash a CDF from your area. However the cable co's mess about changing/adding transponders and moving channels about sub frequencies that often that the best way is to powerscan initially then sort out your channels/favourites manually then either autoscan or manual scan when needed. And basically just keep on top of your own CDF, IMHO new users of the eurovox will learn more by having to do it all rather than having it too easy.

In Croydon, the latest 2007 Eurovox software does not allow you to scan the Virgin channels completely.

What you shold do is downgrade to the October 2006 software, default the box to factory settings and when you go to rescan selevt Croydon TW in the menu.

Then you get all the channels.

I think on the latest software you need to know the start and end frequencies or else it will not pick up the channels.
