bought a new laptop in early july and it was fine until yesterday my norton ran out and i had to renew ,it started freezing i finally got it installed but it stil freezes now and again any ideas on how to rectify it thanks

Norton will slow your pc down a lot. Why did you have to renew, there are far better protection software out there than Norton. Have you tried to take the laptop off the net, close Norton, and see if it still freezes. If it doesnt, then there is your answer.
