Default Registry edit

Hi all i have done a format on my laptop and now i can't turn on my wireless by pressing fn & f2 or windows mobile center.

When i format it a box pops up very quick saying registry issue, So i have looked all over net and i think it is a problem in the registry of my wireless as it may of installed a third party registry and need it deleting.

So can you tell me how and where the wireless is in the computer registry.

I have got a philips 15nb57 laptop running vista.

thanks cable man..

have you look in your device manager to see if there is a yellow exclamation mark against the driver ????, indicating you have the wrong driver installed

download the software ''Device doctor'' install it and download the correct drivers.. Wireless not working is defo related to wrong drivers being installed.

Download Device Doctor

well maybe its like some of the hp laptops, you need to download an install the buttons funtion utility before the buttons will work, the drivers might be there, but the buttons might need a peice of software to get them working.
