can any one tell me if an external hard drive can be plugged into the usbport on vm samsung v+box and may thanks for any help given

hi m8 from wot ive read i dont think that box modal supports that....

The USB port is not enabled on V+ although you can use it to charge external devices.

There are no ways, within the Virgin Media Ts&Cs, of extending the hard disk capacity although there are many who claim to have replaced the internal disk with a larger one.
