it wont if his connection are not properly done, does he just have a broadband connection and no cable sub ?? if that is the problem he will have big problems, as virgin have coped this and turn down the signal to min.

are you saying for the krypview to work you need both a broadband sub and a tv sub?

Hi Guys,

I have recently bought my box, flashed it successfully, and has been working fine till a couple of days agao where as all my channels are coming with scrambled no video. i am only getting channels 1 - 5. I have checked the internet connection through my laptop and that is fine, rebooted router and box to no avail. i have tried to re-scan channels to no avail and when i try to do a s/w update nothing happens. Any help would be greatlly appreciated. Thanks in advance

try reflashing it again and make sure u got right net id in

if u have tv sub u will get higher signal and it not work without internet
