didnt get a chance over the weekend to twiddle, but have noticed over the last few wet days my SNR has dropped to 43%

Good afternoon all,

After a very busy month of working all hours, Ive finally got a little more time with my DM800

"Dear Diary"

Ive had a little twiddle with the 900mm triax dish over the weekend, now have 28.2E SNR at 79% but 0.1W thor has dropped to SNR 39%

I just cannot seem to get a happy medium

Dishpointer is recomending a elevation of 25 degrees, while triax installation recomend 27.6 degrees !

"Day Two"

Purchased a Rev:L Dm800 sat tuner from flebay for about £30, I thought, what harm could happen ??? I was sooo wrong !

Installed the tuner with ease, powered up, all looking great... for about 20 seconds, then started rebooting. would take the box about 12 goes before it would eventually load.
So i contacted the seller, he said "sure, you need the latest bootloader 76C" so, off i go and read up about firmware updates, backuped up my system & downloaded a 76C bootloader and flashed !!!
thats where the "NO CA FOUND" appeared with no telly

My bootloader is a 72 which i now know doesnt work with any other BL
I was using Dreamup 1.3.3.6 and 1.3.3.2 couldnt even flash my own backup
AAARRGHHH NO TELLY

I was trully stuck, until i contacted "Lincsat" he is a true Gent, after trying many different *.nfi files and many hours of aborted updates, i tried DreamUP 1.3.3.4, worked 1st time !
Was very happy to watch telly again last night.

I still have a booting problem though, once the box is warm, she fine

Well, thats enough of me rambling on, I hope this helps out anyone else considering flashing there DM800.
