Anyone know where I can get a new image for my DM800 HD ?

Just got it up and running with the pre-installed image it came with.
I was told the blackhole images are the ones to try?

I've tried to flash a couple of images to my dm800 but the same message keeps coming up.....

ERROR -> NO CA FOUND

Is this to do with the bootloader ?
Is a new one required ?

If so , where can I get one?

After fiddling around with it I have found out it is bootloader 59
Is there an idiots guide to upgrade this as to allow a new image?

After trying several times......

I did it in the end, I had to flash BL69 first and then immediatley flash BL75 and it worked this time. the day before I had already flash Jade 3 PLI and that came up straight away when booted.
The problem now is that the channels that were there before have all vanished and for some reason I am struggling to find satellites with my motorised dish.

use USALS and Vhannibal settings.

Hi mate glad that you got that sorted at least. As unadkat says you need to load the settings again and use USALS on the box, you will need to find your Lat and Long for that and they need to be in decimal, not degrees, minutes and seconds. You cn find the settings here _http://www.vhannibal.net/ remove the underscore and copy the address.

Ok, downloaded that, what next? bust it into the DM800 using dreambox edit?

Sorry, aint got a scooby doo, but I am learning.

That is it use dreambosedit and send it to the box you can edit the channels also if you like. woth the file you load you should have favorites/bouquets and everything in it and you can remove any you do not need or use, but remember to save the new file and name it your settings or something like that so you will know what it is. Hope that you will get it sorted mate. Is the dish going to the right place yet?

just to add

just make sure you go into the dreambox settings

enter the correct port no

Set as passive

test your username and password and IP address as well

@ the bottom make sure u click on sat receiver.

save it

click on FTP and send the channel list to the box.. before that enter the Usals settings onto your DM box and then sent the channels lists.
