Hi I don't know if this is the right place to post I suppose it must be.

Right I move in to a new house on Wednesday this house has already had VM installed there is a white NTL box and an oldish cable modem already in the house. I have ordered VM broadband,tv,phone.etc however an engineer cannot visit for a few weeks. Am I right in thinking that I will be able to use the old modem with my new account so I don't have to wait 2 weeks for Broadband ?

more than likely no! the other modem may have been linked to the old occupants account.

ask them send you install pack m8 sent me one comes with modem splitters etc easy to setup
