orignal FTA software

Hi im just wondering if the orignal fta software will still pick up the fta channals on cable/vm if i reflash my box with it ive managed to get the fta software for the ex6000sd but cat find the fta for ex5000pvr (not a clone).if anyone can help me out i would be very greatfull thanks

you can get FTA channels with a hacked firmware with VM on eurovox or any other box for that matter

Its a waste of time to flash the box with a FTA firmware as you will only receive the same FTA channels as you were with a hacked firmware.

They say that VM will eventually change the streams for FTA channels to 1841.

Then if that happens you might as well throw the box in the bin either way.

soz for the late reply and thanks for replying to my question .and untill the box is totally dead ill be watching the 15 or so channels i still get in the spareroom ive also read tha they can linkedup to be used as a pvr with the kv is this t/f could you put me rite on this please

Am not sure you can achieve this mate. I have not seen nor have I heard that u can use the current PVR box which you have with your KV.

I can't see this being possible @ all mate.

The only way I can see for you to be able to record the channels is by buying a DVD recorder. But I have never owned a DVD recorded so you would have check up on that mate.

No you cant use your pvr with a Kryptview.
