starview combo or sv6 stuttering/freezing? check here

hi anyone got a problem with laoding grooverider ? or stuttering or freezing?
ive heard a few ppl say grooverider will not load on their combo box, it gets to 20% then stops/fails.

so i decided to find out more and after a bit of work a tech guy got me a new bootloader file you use before loading carling 1.01.

this file stops any freezing or stuttering! and it works as ive tested it on my box and a few of my mates boxes too.

why grooverider wont load is a mystery to me.

let me know if anyone wants to try it.

remember these boxes need a good solid net connection and if your downloading or playing xbox/ps3 online etc will cause your cable box to stutter/freeze, this file might help that but id recommend not watching/using the cable box while heavy net useage !

The Starview HD Combo will not let you load older firmware than already loaded. So if you try to load Grooverider over carling, it will stall at 20%. I also don't recommend doing a software & All Data update if the box has already accessed the server. This has been mentioned on the Spiderbox forum and they are basically the same box.

if this is true quavis, why havent you upped the loader to the download section for us all to try. as i dont even use my combo for cable side anymore, but i know a few ppl who dont have a dish so they need sv server running glitch free

i didnt upload it cos i didnt want too.
im happy to send it to anyone that wnats to try it, also lincsat will test it and upload it to the bigmaq toolbar whens its been verified.

too many people are willing to slate me if i do anything so rather than upload it i thought it easier to give when asked.

plus theres a few users i dont want to have use of it.... plain and simple.

lol one more thing why should i upload it to the downlaod section?
when i share i get slated..... so i dont share!

mind u ill see if i can upload it then everyone can use it,,, .
