hi can any one help me ive got a starview box it keeps creshing and fressing now when i turn it off and back on it comes on to radio when i pit it on to t.v it fresses and it a multi colled pic but got good sound can any one help thanks.


p.s do the starview have chips in them

it could be the c11 cap take the top of and look for bulging caps are leakages around the caps on the power board to start with

Your correct and right it is the C11 cap you will need to go to Maplins and get a new one and replace it to get the box sorted it all happens down to small power surges constantly hitting the chip if you need more help on how to replace it pm me or post here i will sort it for ya
